NRA Basic Pistol Course

The NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting course is a great way for you to learn the basics of pistol shooting from the top firearms training organization in the world! This class is to learn pistols and how to shoot. It does not qualify for Texas LTC
We have laser training devices to assist new shooters to learn sight alignment, sight picture, body control and trigger pull. Very effective in getting shooters ready for the range. Laser Calibers we currently have available 380, 9mm, 40 cal, 38/357 magnum and 45 cal.
Instructor Led Course : 100% done in person covering 8 hours and range time.
Objective: The NRA Basic Pistol Shooting Course introduces students to the knowledge, skills and attitude necessary for owning and using a pistol safely. Through this course, the students will learn about pistol parts and operation, ammunition, gun safety, pistol shooting fundamentals, and pistol shooting activities. The Basic Pistol Course will also help prepare the student for participation in other NRA courses.
If you have none or limited pistol shooting experience, the NRA Basic Pistol Course is for you. This course includes the classroom training, range time and Basics of Pistol Learning Guide.
You will Need:
A Pistol if you have one
100 Rounds of Ammo for your Pistol
Safety Glasses (Prescription glasses are fine)
Hearing Protection
No open toed shoes
No live ammo allow in the classroom. Leave ammo in your vehicle till the range
All firearms will have to be inspected when brought in the classroom
